Join the Dexter District Library's Adult Winter Reading Program. Registration begins on January 4th and over the course of the program participants will be asked to read and record books or magazine articles on his or her reading log. Participants will turn in their completed log to the Adult Reference Desk by March 8, 2016 for entry into the final drawing. The final drawing will take place at the wrap up event Always Hawai’I and Tahiti; a Hula Performance on March 18, 2016.
On the second Tuesday of the month, there will be a meeting called Book Talk Tuesday. Each Book Talk Tuesday will focus on a different genre (Mystery, Sci-Fi and Fantasy, and Historical Fiction and Non-Fiction) but open discussion is always welcome and encouraged.
Participants will also have the option of participating in our monthly drawing by submitting a short book review. The monthly drawing will take place at each Book Talk Tuesday (must be present to win) and all entries will be included in the 2nd floor display.
