Come celebrate Michigan’s 176^th anniversary of statehood with naturalist and historian Randy Baker. Learn how Michigan rapidly changed with the development of new technologies and an increased demand for natural resources. The Erie Canal, the Underground Railroad, national and international trade, past and current threats to our natural resources and how human activities have changed our Earth’s surface. This program will be geared toward adults, but families with children are welcome. Registration is required.
